"This placement at SambaStream exceeded my expectations and goals and provided me with incredible opportunity. My first objective was to work with an inspiring team on cutting edge web technologies, indeed being a part of a small company was advantageous because I could be a part of, and was asked to be a part of, everything.

The recruitment process was 'user-friendly' and effective, indeed we were assessed on our abilities to develop and solve problems. That is a very good point compared to other companies. During this placement, I was responsible of the development of SambaJam and was involved on the frontend and the backend as well. Another point, in SambaStream you are well rewarded for all the hard work that you have done!

The single best part for me was not the responsibilities that I was given. Rather I was most impressed by my supervisors and their care, support, professionalism and friendly attitude. For example I ran every day (almost :-) ) with my tutor! I have learned so many things from them and about the kind of people that I want to become.

To conclude, I was very satisfied about this placement at SambaStream. It was a great first time experience in UK, and we will definitely do it again...what a great summer!
